Parent/Child Issues
Strengthening the parent-child bond through counseling, communication, and mutual understanding.
The parent-child relationship is one of the most fundamental bonds in human development. When that relationship becomes strained — whether due to behavioral challenges, communication difficulties, developmental issues, or family transitions — it can cause significant distress for both parent and child.
At New Horizons Counseling Center, we help parents and children understand each other better, communicate more effectively, and rebuild trust and connection. Our therapists work with both parents and children — together and individually — to identify the underlying causes of conflict and develop practical strategies for positive change.
